About Gennery's Generations
Welcome and thank you for visiting my site.
Over the next few pages you'll see the culmination of 15 years work.Of course
it's far from complete with many avenues still to explore and a number of very
strong long standing brick walls to try to knock down.
My family are what would probably be classed as a typical British family with
branches coming from all four corners of the British Isles. The Gennery's never
moving more than eight miles in South London/Kent in two hundred years. The
Donnelly's escaping the famine in Ireland with the Brine's coming from the
Welsh coal mining communities and the Kirkpatrick's moving to London from
Scotland. The Robbin's living and working on the land in rural Berkshire and
Buckinghamshire.
The site is still ongoing with numerous facts still to be added which I'm
hoping to do over the next few months. So the next time you read this
introduction it will probably have changed as well.
This work has been aided by numerous people/relative's I've come into contact
with during my research. In particular I'd like to thank Vickie Slogrove, Kyla
Donnelly, Christina Ross, Betty Ellis, Pat Krishnan, Allen Vickery, Simiat
King for their contributions. There are many others who've helped so if I've
not mentioned your names I do apologise but thank you.Lastly even though not
related I'd like to thank Art Jannery of Florida for his help and
encouragement over the years.
Please feel free to browse the trees and photo's.If you're inclined to then
I'd love to hear from you either through the guestbook or via e-mail.Any new
information,no matter trivial you may think it is,is always greatly
appreciated.
Cheers
Stuart
